Fury casts doubt on Joshua fight and challenges Usyk to third bout

Tyson Fury has claimed his proposed heavyweight bout with Anthony Joshua is in doubt, citing uncertainty over its date and venue.
The two former heavyweight world champions have been negotiating a long-awaited all-British fight expected to take place in November 2026. Madison Square Garden in New York has been discussed as a possible venue, while Joshua’s camp reportedly prefers Wembley Stadium.
Fury said Joshua was backing out of the contest and criticised his rival’s failure to settle the arrangements. The claims, reported by Al Jazeera Global News, have not been independently confirmed, and the fight has not been officially cancelled.
Fury has instead challenged Oleksandr Usyk to a third bout in November. Fury has twice lost to the Ukrainian, while Joshua has been working with Usyk’s training team.
It remains unclear whether Usyk will accept the challenge or whether either proposed fight will proceed in November. The date and venue for the Fury–Joshua bout remain unconfirmed.
