Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are expected at a London press conference on Wednesday, their first public face-off ahead of a scheduled heavyweight bout on 11 December at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Sky Sports reports.

Sky Sports commentator Matthew Macklin expects Fury to use psychological tactics, arguing that confidence and doubt can shape a contest between opponents in an individual sport.

Macklin predicts Fury will be animated at the event, while Joshua may be less inclined to engage. He said choosing not to respond could help Joshua avoid being drawn into psychological games.

Organisers are expected to try to prevent a physical confrontation, Macklin said. He believes the fight will go ahead, while anticipating complications before the scheduled bout.

The press conference and fight are still described as expected and scheduled; the report does not confirm that either has taken place.
