Flanders Darts Trophy draw sets Antwerp schedule as World Grand Prix race concludes
Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price and Beau Greaves are among the leading entrants for the 13th European Tour event of the season.
The Flanders Darts Trophy will be held at Antwerp Expo from 11 to 13 September, with the draw and schedule placing six of the world’s top 10 players in the field.
The tournament is the 13th European Tour event of the season. Luke Littler and Luke Humphries, the PDC’s top-two ranked players, are absent, while Michael van Gerwen, Gian van Veen, Gerwyn Price and James Wade are among the leading names scheduled to compete.
Beau Greaves will face Damon Heta in Friday evening’s opening round. If Greaves progresses, she is scheduled to meet van Gerwen in the second round on Saturday evening.
Sky Sports reported that Greaves became the first woman to win a match on the Euro Tour at last week’s tournament in Prague. Her Antwerp campaign will begin against Heta in an evening session scheduled to start at 6pm BST.
The tournament’s final rounds are scheduled for Sunday, with the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final to be played after the afternoon’s third round. The event will also conclude the qualification race for the World Grand Prix at the end of September.
