The Indiana Fever beat the Las Vegas Aces 99–89 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse to tie their best-of-three playoff series at one game apiece. The result sets up a deciding Game 3 in Las Vegas.
Caitlin Clark scored 27 points and had 15 assists, while Kelsey Mitchell added 26 points. Las Vegas won the series opener 102–85, with A’ja Wilson scoring 38 points and taking 16 rebounds.
A late fourth-quarter exchange between Wilson and a spectator drew a technical foul. Wilson said she objected to the man stepping towards her and pointing at her. The spectator’s words have not been publicly established, and the exchange has not been independently verified.
Yahoo Sports reported that officials reviewed the incident before assessing Wilson the technical foul. Aces coach Becky Hammon said she had not seen Wilson react that way before and thought Wilson felt seriously disrespected.
