ESPN’s Week 3 fantasy football guide combines game projections, matchup analysis and lineup recommendations for NFL games. It is aimed at 12-team PPR leagues with standard settings, and ESPN says its projections and rankings may be updated before kickoff.

The guide names lineup locks across the matchups and assesses players whose fantasy prospects may be affected by recent usage, form or injuries. Its recommendations include Josh Allen, James Cook III and Ladd McConkey, while it cautions that lineup advice depends on league settings.

ESPN’s projections include a 27–19 Seahawks win over Washington and a 21–21 draw between the Vikings and Buccaneers. These are forecasts, not results. The guide also gives over/under totals and win probabilities for games across the week.

Availability could affect several teams’ outlooks. ESPN says Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels is out, while Chicago quarterback Caleb Williams is likely to miss his game. Tyson Bagent’s status remains uncertain as he is in concussion protocol. Indianapolis receiver Alec Pierce is expected to miss time after a shin injury.

The guide says its matchup metric draws on fantasy points allowed by opposing defences, while its shadow reports use play-by-play data on receiver and cornerback alignments. ESPN presents both as inputs to its fantasy advice; projections and player roles remain subject to change before games begin.
