Despite the sartorial irregularity, the officiating crew remained central to the game’s outcome. Third-base umpire Jordan Baker made a pivotal obstruction call in the eighth inning that allowed the Brewers to tie the game at 2-2. One batter later, Jake Bauers hit a double to put Milwaukee ahead, securing the 3-2 win.
