Emerse Fae is reportedly interested in becoming Hibernian’s head coach, according to the Scottish Sun in a report carried by Yahoo Sports.

Fae, a former Ivory Coast head coach and Reading midfielder, is reported to have family links to Scotland. The report does not say that he has applied for the role or been offered the position.

The speculation comes as questions continue around Martin O’Neill’s future at Celtic. Separate reports cited in the roundup link that uncertainty to defeats by Rangers and Ferencvaros.

The Celtic-related claims remain unconfirmed, with reports differing over whether O’Neill is under immediate pressure or could remain in the role for the season.
