Florida State and Alabama are scheduled to meet in a Week 3 non-conference college football game at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa on Saturday, 19 September 2026.
The matchup comes one year after Florida State defeated Alabama 31–17. The Crimson Tide enter the rematch with a 2–0 record, while the Seminoles are 1–1 and had a bye before the fixture.
Florida State’s preparation has unfolded amid institutional pressure. The programme dismissed athletic director Michael Alford after its Week 2 loss to SMU, adding uncertainty around a team already under scrutiny.
Quarterback Ashton Daniels and running backs Ousmane Kromah and Samuel Singleton Jr. have been identified as important contributors for Florida State. Alabama, meanwhile, is coming off a 45–17 win over Kentucky after trailing 17–16 at half-time.
CBS Sports’ preview described Alabama as the stronger home side, while noting that quarterback Keelon Russell struggled during his first road start against Kentucky before the Crimson Tide rallied. Those assessments remain projections ahead of a game for which no result has been reported.
