Dynamic Lyrics brings synced lyrics to Apple CarPlay
Engadget reports the app works with Apple Music and Spotify, with permanent premium access priced at US$9.99 and iOS 26 required.
Dynamic Lyrics can display time-synced song lyrics in Apple CarPlay for users of Apple Music and Spotify, according to Engadget. The app adds a lyrics widget to CarPlay, where it can be enlarged within the widget stack.
Engadget reports that permanent access to the premium feature costs US$9.99 and requires an iPhone running iOS 26. The app prompts users to connect a streaming service; Spotify users may need to authorise access.
The premium version offers customisation options, including coloured backgrounds and album-cover styles. Users can choose a vinyl-style display or one showing the full album cover.
The widget is added through CarPlay settings by selecting a vehicle, opening the Widgets menu and choosing a Lyrics widget. Engadget advises against drivers taking their eyes off the road to read lyrics.
