The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Atlanta Braves 3–1 in NLDS Game 3, moving within one win of the National League Championship Series. The result gives the Dodgers a 2–1 lead in the best-of-five series.

Enrique Hernández and Freddie Freeman homered in the fourth inning, helping Los Angeles build a 3–0 lead against Chris Sale. Sale allowed three runs over five innings.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto gave the Dodgers control from the mound, allowing one run over seven innings and striking out 10. He also issued one walk.

Atlanta scored its only run in the fifth inning. Yamamoto’s outing and the Dodgers’ three runs proved enough to put Los Angeles ahead in the series.
