DJ Moore’s shoulder injury leaves Bills facing uncertainty
Buffalo receiver DJ Moore did not return after injuring his left shoulder in the Bills’ 41–31 win over Detroit.
Buffalo Bills wide receiver DJ Moore suffered a left shoulder injury early in the team’s 41–31 win over the Detroit Lions and did not return.
Reports cited by Yahoo Sports indicated Moore may have sustained an acromioclavicular, or AC, sprain. No confirmed team diagnosis, imaging results, injury grade or recovery timeline was provided.
The injury occurred as Moore dived for a pass that bounced off his chest. Lions cornerback Rock Ya-Sin also moved to defend the play and landed awkwardly on Moore.
An external medical analysis published by MEDspiration on X attributed the injury mechanism to both players’ body weight driving into Moore’s left shoulder. That assessment was not presented as an official team diagnosis.
It remained unclear whether Moore would miss subsequent games. The Bills had 10 days between games after playing on Thursday night, leaving time for further information on his availability.
