Detroit Catholic Central Holds Top Spot in Week 3 Michigan Football Poll
The Detroit News’ statewide Super 25 rankings keep Detroit Catholic Central and Detroit Cass Tech first and second, while undefeated Detroit King rises to third.

Detroit Catholic Central remains No. 1 in The Detroit News’ statewide Super 25 high-school football rankings for Week 3, with Detroit Cass Tech retaining second place. Both teams are listed with 2-0 records.
Detroit King, also 2-0, has moved into third in the poll. The Detroit News did not state the team’s previous ranking or the size of the change.
The rankings were compiled by Detroit News contributor Keith Dunlap and cover 25 schools from across Michigan. Birmingham Brother Rice and East Kentwood follow Detroit King in fourth and fifth.
Orchard Lake St Mary’s is sixth with a 1-1 record, followed by Howell, Saline, Warren De La Salle and Clarkston. Romeo, Chelsea, Byron Center, Harper Woods and Grand Blanc complete the next five positions.
