Derrick Henry sets Super Bowl target for Ravens’ 2026 season
Baltimore running back Derrick Henry says winning a championship is driving him as the Ravens begin their 2026 campaign.
Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry has identified a Super Bowl win as his central motivation for the 2026 NFL season, telling The Lounge podcast he is tired of watching the game from home.
“I want to win a Super Bowl,” Henry said, according to Fox Sports. He said he intends to continue playing until the Ravens reach that point and wants to be part of the championship push.
Henry also said it would be unacceptable to play alongside quarterback Lamar Jackson without winning a championship. The comments place the focus on Baltimore’s need to convert individual production into a team title.
According to Fox Sports, Henry rushed for 1,595 yards and 16 touchdowns in his first season with Baltimore in 2024. The Ravens later missed the playoffs after an 8–9 season and dismissed head coach John Harbaugh, appointing former Los Angeles Chargers defensive coordinator Jesse Minter.
Henry enters the season with 13,018 rushing yards and 122 rushing touchdowns, figures listed by Fox Sports. His stated target remains an ambition, rather than an indication that Baltimore will reach the Super Bowl.
