Dbrand cases put Apple’s unannounced iPhone Ultra in the spotlight
Nearly 50 Grip cases for the rumoured foldable handset are on sale ahead of Apple’s scheduled 9 September event.

Dbrand is selling nearly 50 Grip cases designed for Apple’s unannounced iPhone Ultra, putting the rumoured foldable handset in view before Apple has confirmed its existence.
The listings, reported by Engadget, appear to show advance preparation for a device that is not yet available to buy. They do not confirm that Apple will announce the handset at its scheduled 9 September event.
Rumours describe the iPhone Ultra as a book-style foldable, similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold or Google’s Pixel Fold. The device is expected to combine a conventional iPhone form factor with a larger internal display, potentially using a more iPad-like version of iOS.
Specifications remain unconfirmed, including reports of screen technology intended to reduce the visible crease when the phone is unfolded. Rumoured pricing ranges from at least US$2,000 to about US$2,400.
Reports suggest Apple could announce the handset at the event but delay its release until later in the year. Apple has not confirmed the device, its design, pricing or launch timing.
