Brazilian midfielder Danilo has emphasised his capacity to perform in various tactical roles, stating he is equipped to play as a defensive midfielder (No. 5), a central midfielder (No. 8), or an attacking midfielder (No. 10). The comments, attributed to Sport Witness, emerge as speculation intensifies regarding a potential return to the Premier League for the player, with Arsenal reportedly monitoring his progress.
Danilo currently represents Botafogo in Brazil, where he has reportedly regained the form that initially attracted interest from European clubs. This follows a two-year stint in England with Nottingham Forest, which concluded when he returned to Brazil in 2023. Arsenal had expressed interest in securing his signature prior to his move to the English side, and the midfielder’s recent performances have once again placed him on the Gunners’ radar.
