Croatia, appearing in their seventh World Cup, bring significant tournament experience, having finished as runners-up in 2018 and third in 2022. Panama, in contrast, is making only its second World Cup appearance and has yet to secure a point in the competition’s history.

Green, who holds an 18-8 record over his last 26 UEFA Champions League picks, cited Panama’s attacking intent and possession dominance in their previous outing as key factors.
Green noted that while Panama failed to score against Ghana, they dominated possession with 63% and showed significant attacking endeavor. He also suggested that Panama’s forwards looked sharp in their defeat to England and should be capable of scoring against Croatia goalkeeper Orlando Mosquera.
