Cornhole major brings eight ACO champions to Hamilton
The 2–3 October tournament will feature a 16-player Pro Series Skins bracket with an additional $5,000 purse. Spectators can attend free.
The American Cornhole Organization will hold its Spooky Nook Pro Series Skins Major at Spooky Nook Sports Champion Mill in Hamilton on 2–3 October. The report does not specify the year.
Eight current and former ACO world champions, known as ACO Kings, are expected to compete. The organisation says it is the first time all eight have appeared at one event in its 22-season history.
The tournament programme includes Juniors, Women’s, Seniors, Co-Ed, World Doubles and World Singles divisions, among others. A 16-player Pro Series Skins bracket will carry an additional $5,000 purse, with the top 16 Pro qualifiers competing across a series of 13 frame-limited contests.
Spectator admission is free, and members of the public can enter open blind-draw tournaments. ACO founder and president Frank Geers said the organisation expects players from more than 15 states to attend.
The ACO says it has governed cornhole since 2005 and holds more than 40 Majors nationwide. The events lead towards the Season 22 ACO World Championships, scheduled for July 2027 in Medford, Oregon.
