Chivas Femenil’s undefeated start to the Apertura 2026 tournament came to an end on Matchday 4, as the Guadalajara side fell 3-1 to Pachuca at Estadio Hidalgo. The match marked the first setback for the Rojiblancas, who had previously maintained a perfect record in the competition.

Guadalajara took the lead in the 33rd minute when Alicia Cervantes converted a precise pass from Natalia Colín into a clinical goal. The early advantage provided a platform for the visitors, who continued to press for a second goal after the break.

Pachuca, however, managed to equalise in the 60th minute through a penalty converted by Charlyn Corral. The hosts maintained their momentum, with Yirleidis Quejada adding a second goal in the 67th minute to put Pachuca ahead. Ohale Osinachi sealed the victory in the 86th minute, scoring the final goal of the match.

Goalkeeper Blanca Félix was a standout performer for Guadalajara, producing a spectacular save in the 49th minute to deny the hosts an early equaliser. Despite this intervention, the defensive line struggled to contain Pachuca’s attack in the latter stages of the game.

Head coach Antonio Contreras will now look to regroup his squad before the next fixture. The match was officiated by referee Erika Monserrat González Nevarez, with the full-time score reflecting Pachuca’s dominance in the second half.

Chivas Femenil will return to action on Sunday, 30 August, when they host Pumas at Estadio AKRON at 5:00 PM in Matchday 5 of the Apertura 2026.
