CBS Sports has published its expert predictions and betting recommendations for Wednesday’s Champions League fixtures, with Arsenal and Manchester United among the teams featured as Matchday 1 continues.

The analysts forecast a 2–0 win for Arsenal away to Napoli and recommended a “both teams to score” wager for the match. Riccardo Calafiori was identified as a player to watch, while Christos Tzolis was nominated as a potential man of the match.

Manchester United were backed to defeat Sabah 3–0 at Old Trafford. The recommended bet was for United to score more than 1.5 goals in the first half, although the article noted that the club’s starting line-up could be affected by the looming Manchester derby.

Orphe Mbina was selected as Sabah’s player to watch, while Bryan Mbuemo was named as a potential man of the match after scoring three goals in the opening games of the season, according to the CBS Sports article.

The league phase involves 36 clubs, each playing eight matches, with the opening matchweek spread across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The predictions are expert assessments rather than confirmed results, and player availability and starting line-ups had not been confirmed.
