Celtic FC x adidas 2026/27 Home kit is revealed today
The club and adidas have released a new jersey design honouring the 1966/67 European Cup triumph.

Celtic FC and adidas have officially announced the design for the 2026/27 home kit, a release timed to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the club's historic European Cup victory. The new garment is explicitly structured to honour the achievements of the 1966/67 squad, known as the Lisbon Lions, who secured the treble in that season.

The visual identity of the kit centres on gold detailing intended to reflect the prestige of the original campaign. A special crest commemorating the anniversary is integrated into the design, featuring a lenticular heat transfer on the authentic version and gold embroidery on the replica. The kit is completed with classic white shorts that include green three-stripe detailing alongside the gold crest.

Technical specifications for the jersey include adidas' CLIMACOOL technology, which is designed to provide advanced moisture management. The club states that this feature ensures players remain cool and dry during matches, whether they are competing on the pitch or the kit is being worn by supporters in the stands.

The presentation of the new kit was modelled by two prominent figures within the club's structure. Captain Kelly Clark, who has served the organisation for over a decade and captained the women's team during their most successful season, features in the campaign. She is joined by James Forrest, described as one of the club's most decorated players, who has dedicated another season to the side.

Commercial availability for the 2026/27 home kit is scheduled to begin on Thursday, 14 May. While the general release date is fixed, the kit is currently available for pre-order through various channels. These include Celtic Football Club stores, the official online store at store.celticfc.com, and JD Sports outlets both online and via in-store kiosks.

The launch marks a significant institutional moment for the club, linking the current squad's identity directly to the legacy of the Lisbon Lions. By anchoring the new season's kit in the history of the 1966/67 European Cup win, the club reinforces the continuity of its sporting achievements across generations.
