FRANCE 24’s arts24 music programme has previewed some of the week’s anticipated concerts in Paris, led by Céline Dion and Jay-Z.
Dion is reported to be commencing 16 shows at La Défense Arena, described by FRANCE 24 as sold out. The programme does not provide concert dates or independently verify the ticketing claim.
Jay-Z is reported to be marking 30 years of his career at the Stade de France. The programme does not clarify whether the appearance is a single concert or part of a broader schedule.
The programme also features pianist Sofiane Pamart, who is set to perform at the Stade de France and has released an album titled “Movies”. Pamart spoke to FRANCE 24 after performing at the opening ceremony of the Deauville American Film Festival.
Australian sibling duo Angus and Julia Stone are featured with their album “Karaoke Bar”, while British band Bloc Party are described as marking 25 years of their career with “Anatomy of a New Romance”.
