CBS Sports has published its Fantasy Baseball Week 25 preview, ranking pitchers expected to make two starts during the 7–13 September scoring period and grouping them by their usefulness across different fantasy formats.

Cam Schlittler, Dylan Cease, Jesus Luzardo, Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Trevor Rogers are listed as “must-start” options in all formats. The rankings are part of Scott White’s recurring preview of two-start pitchers and streaming choices.

Andrew Painter is ranked ninth among the featured pitchers and is categorised as “advisable in most cases”. The Philadelphia pitcher is listed for projected starts against Houston and Atlanta.

Eury Pérez is ranked 13th and placed in the category “better left for points leagues”. The Miami pitcher is listed for projected starts against the New York Mets and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

CBS Sports also lists pitchers under “no thanks”, while noting that the names and match-ups require forecasting and may change. The rankings should therefore be treated as fantasy guidance rather than confirmed assignments.
