CBS Sports has identified 10 lower-rostered pitchers as potential streaming options for Fantasy Baseball Week 25, aimed at managers short of reliable choices. The recommendations cover the 7–13 September scoring period and were current as of late Sunday.

Jacob Lopez is the leading selection, with a 62 per cent roster rate in CBS Sports leagues and matchups against Toronto and Seattle. CBS Sports cited a 2.36 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 10.9 strikeouts per nine innings across his past nine turns.

Cal Quantrill, rostered in 43 per cent of leagues, is scheduled to face Seattle. His recent figures include a 1.25 ERA, 0.76 WHIP and 8.5 strikeouts per nine innings over his past eight turns, although CBS Sports noted his history of mediocrity.

The remaining recommendations are Andrew Painter, Tyler Mahle, Walbert Urena, Hayden Wesneski, Nick Pivetta, Brandon Young, Zebby Matthews and Connor Prielipp. Their roster rates range from 22 to 73 per cent, and all 10 pitchers were rostered in no more than 80 per cent of CBS Sports leagues when the preview was prepared.

CBS Sports said its top two or three picks represented stronger endorsements, while the other selections carried greater risk. Nick Pivetta, returning from a five-month absence caused by a flexor strain, was expected to work under a limited pitch count, having thrown no more than 64 pitches in a rehabilitation outing.
