The Denver Broncos are intensifying their focus on player wellness ahead of the 2025 season, with head coach Sean Payton overseeing the implementation of advanced recovery infrastructure at Broncos Park Powered by CommonSpirit. Fox NFL insider Jay Glazer provided an in-depth assessment of the team’s new facilities during Day 8 of training camp, highlighting a suite of amenities designed to support athletes through rigorous physical demands.

The newly established wellness centre features a cryo-room, a dry float tank, a hyperbaric chamber, nap pods, and hot and cold pools. Glazer, who previously operated the Unbreakable Performance Center 13 years ago, noted the significant upgrade in technology compared to earlier industry standards. He observed that Payton, during his tenure with the New Orleans Saints, had previously introduced cryotherapy to the NFL by ordering two cryochambers from Glazer’s facility, making the Saints the first team to utilise such equipment.

According to Glazer, the Broncos’ current setup represents a substantial evolution from those earlier installations. "Welp, he definitely one-upped us with this thing," Glazer wrote in an Instagram post detailing his tour. The facilities are being actively utilised during training camp to manage player health, with specific attention paid to those undergoing rehabilitation.

Several key players are currently navigating various stages of injury recovery while accessing these resources. Nik Bonitto, Jaylen Waddle, and Luke Wattenberg are among those reported to be using the amenities to aid their physical restoration. The club’s strategy appears to prioritise proactive maintenance, ensuring that recovery protocols match the intensity of on-field training.

Glazer emphasised the necessity of comprehensive recovery regimes, stating that athletes must "recover as hard as they train." He warned against the common mistake of neglecting wellness until an injury occurs, arguing that outworking the competition requires dedication across all aspects of physical care. The Broncos are continuing their offseason preparations at Broncos Park, aiming to establish themselves as one of the healthiest teams in the league for the upcoming campaign.
