Use BetMGM bonus code CBSSPORTS to get $1,500 in bonus bets on Yankees-Mariners, Paul Skenes MLB props Tuesday
New user incentives tied to Yankees, Pirates, and Giants matchups as SportsLine models weigh in on key fixtures

BetMGM has introduced a new promotional structure for users engaging with Major League Baseball betting on Tuesday, utilising the promo code CBSSPORTS. The offer is designed to attract new customers by providing tiered bonus bets based on the outcome of their initial wager. Users who secure a win on their first bet will receive $150 in bonus bets, while those whose qualifying wager loses are eligible for up to $1,500 in bonus bets. The availability of this incentive is subject to location-specific regulations.

The promotion is aligned with a slate of specific MLB fixtures, including the New York Yankees versus the Seattle Mariners and the Pittsburgh Pirates facing the Miami Marlins. Central to the marketing push is the performance of Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes. The SportsLine Projection Model, which simulates every MLB game 10,000 times, has entered Week 21 of the season with a 45-30 record on its top-rated picks. The model projects Skenes to record 6.9 strikeouts in the upcoming Tuesday game, backing the Over 6.5 total.

Skenes’ recent form has shown significant improvement following a slow start to the season. In his last five starts prior to this week, he failed to reach the 6.5 strikeout mark. However, in his subsequent 19 starts, he has averaged 7.3 strikeouts per game, ranking seventh in the league for total strikeouts. The model notes that Skenes has exceeded the 6.5 strikeout total in four of his last five outings, reinforcing the recommendation for the Over.

Beyond the Pirates matchup, the SportsLine model and experts have identified value in other Tuesday games. The model expects the San Francisco Giants to upset the Houston Astros, citing recent struggles for Astros starter Hunter Brown, who posted a 4.94 ERA in five July starts. Conversely, Giants starter Carson Whisenhunt has demonstrated strong home performance with a 5.06 ERA, compared to an ERA above 9.00 on the road. The model projects the Giants to win 50% of simulations at +155 odds.

SportsLine expert Eric Cohen has also provided analysis for the Yankees-Mariners game, highlighting Seattle starter Bryan Woo’s poor road record of 1-8 with a 6.71 ERA. Cohen noted that the Yankees have won four of Ryan Weathers’ last five starts, suggesting value in backing New York. Combining the three highlighted picks—the Pirates, Giants, and Yankees—into a parlay at BetMGM Sportsbook would yield odds of +675.
