Barcelona open to offers for Koundé as reported interest grows

Barcelona may consider offers for Jules Koundé as the club plans further squad departures next summer, according to a report by Diario SPORT carried by Yahoo Sports. The reported moves form part of Barcelona’s effort to reduce its wage bill.
The report says Barcelona were willing to listen to offers for the defender during the summer, but Koundé wanted to stay. It links several leading Premier League clubs and Bayern Munich with him, without naming the English sides. PSG is not reported to have shown interest.
Koundé has reportedly started two of Barcelona’s eight matches this season and is behind Eric Garcia at right-back. Andreas Christensen’s injury could create an opportunity for him in defence.
