At least five killed in reported shelling of Dilling residential areas

At least five people, including a child, were reportedly killed and several others injured after residential areas in Dilling, South Kordofan, were shelled, according to the Sudan Doctors Network.
The medical organisation attributed the artillery attack to forces of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N). No response from the group or its leader, Abdel Aziz al-Hilu, was included in the source material.
The Sudan Doctors Network described the bombardment as a violation of international humanitarian law and called for international action and pressure on SPLM-N’s leadership to end attacks on civilians and residential areas.
