Artisan Mid Cap Fund increased its exposure to Tradeweb Markets during the second quarter of 2026, adding to the position after a recent pullback in the company’s share price.

Artisan Partners said Tradeweb’s growth prospects were supported by momentum in interest-rate swaps and international markets, alongside the longer-term shift towards electronic fixed-income trading.

Tradeweb operates electronic marketplaces and trading platforms, including one of the largest global over-the-counter fixed-income electronic trading marketplaces. Artisan said ongoing product enhancements and the company’s significant addressable market could provide long-term upside.

The fund said credit-market share remained an area to monitor. Tradeweb shares closed at US$106.20 on 4 September, having gained 2.41% over the month but fallen 11% over the preceding 52 weeks, according to the source.

The Artisan Mid Cap Fund’s investor-class returns ranged from 17.86% to 17.93% in the second quarter, compared with a 14.55% gain for the Russell Midcap Growth Index. The source said 54 hedge-fund portfolios held Tradeweb at the end of the quarter, up from 50 in the previous quarter.

Artisan did not disclose the size of the position increase or the fund’s portfolio weighting. Its assessment of Tradeweb’s growth potential represents the fund manager’s view, rather than an independent forecast.
