Arsenal extend Arteta’s deal through to 2030
The club says the manager has signed a new contract after leading Arsenal to its first league title in 22 years.

Arsenal has extended manager Mikel Arteta’s contract until 2030, the club announced on Wednesday. His previous deal was due to expire at the end of the current season; no other contract terms were disclosed.
Arteta took charge in December 2019. Last season, Arsenal won its first league title in 22 years under his management and reached the Champions League final, where it lost to Paris Saint-Germain on penalties.
The extension commits Arteta to the club beyond the deal’s previous expiry, as Arsenal seeks to build on those achievements. The announcement included statements from Arteta and co-chairmen Stan and Josh Kroenke welcoming the continuation of their relationship.
Arsenal are second in the Premier League, three points behind leaders Manchester City, after a 3–0 defeat by Brighton before the international break. The club is due to host Leeds on Saturday.
