Texas quarterback Arch Manning is the early favourite to be selected first overall in the 2027 NFL Draft, according to DraftKings odds reported by Fox Sports on 14 September.

Manning is listed at +225, ahead of Oregon quarterback Dante Moore at +400 and Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr at +500. Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith and Darian Mensah are both listed at +900, making them the leading non-quarterback contenders in the market.

Fox Sports cited Manning’s early-season form, including Texas’s comeback win over Ohio State, as part of its assessment. He started for Texas last season, completing 61.4 per cent of his passes for 3,163 yards, 26 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Moore and Carr are the next-ranked quarterbacks on the odds board. Moore starred for Oregon last season, while Carr was Notre Dame’s starting quarterback.

The market continues a recent pattern in which quarterbacks have been selected first overall in four consecutive NFL drafts, according to Fox Sports. The odds are an early betting-market snapshot and may change; they do not establish the draft order or amount to a confirmed prediction.
