AppleCare One bundles protection for up to three devices, Engadget says

AppleCare+ covers one Apple device per plan, while AppleCare One extends protection to up to three devices under a single subscription, according to a comparison by Engadget.

Engadget says AppleCare One costs US$20 a month, with additional devices available for US$6 each. The plan is currently reported to be available in the US, UK, France, Germany and Australia.

AppleCare+ pricing varies by device. Engadget cites monthly or annual pricing of US$14 or US$140 for an iPhone 17 Pro Max, compared with US$10 or US$100 for an iPhone 17e. Apple products generally include a one-year limited warranty, while AppleCare plans extend protection beyond that period.

Reported benefits include unlimited accidental-damage repairs, priority support and service through Apple Stores or authorised providers, subject to service fees and deductibles. Engadget gives examples of US$29 for iPhone screen or back-glass damage and US$149 for theft or loss.

Coverage can also include battery replacement when battery health falls to 80 per cent, as well as theft-and-loss protection for eligible iPhones, iPads and Apple Watches. Both plans reportedly cover included cables and power adapters, plus one Apple Pencil and one iPad keyboard for iPads.

AppleCare One has additional eligibility limits. Most devices must be four years old or newer, while headphones must be one year old or newer, and devices must be registered under the same Apple account. Engadget cautions that costs, deductibles and benefits vary by device, market, taxes and subscription terms.
