Apple reverses recent price hikes with discounts on iPad Pro and iPad Air
The 13-inch iPad Pro M5 and 11-inch iPad Air M3 see significant reductions at Amazon and Best Buy, alongside deals on accessories and gaming hardware.

Apple has implemented price reductions on several iPad models, marking a reversal of the price increases enacted last month. The adjustment affects high-end and mid-tier configurations, with the 13-inch iPad Pro M5 and the 11-inch iPad Air M3 seeing notable discounts at major retailers.
The 13-inch iPad Pro M5 with 512GB of storage is currently discounted by $150 at Amazon, bringing the price to $1,549.99 from its original $1,699. Best Buy is offering a $100 reduction on the same model. This device features the M5 processor, an OLED display, up to 60W fast charging, and compatibility with the Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard.
A deeper discount is available on the 11-inch iPad Air M3 with 1TB of storage, which has been marked down by $500 to $749. Although the M3 chip is considered an older generation compared to the M4 version, the 1TB storage option is priced only $40 more than the base M4 model with 128GB. The discount applies to all available colours, including blue, purple, space gray, and starlight.
Beyond Apple’s own hardware, the current sales event includes discounts on accessories and third-party electronics. A four-pack of Apple AirTags is available for $10 off, while a refurbished Sony PS5 Slim console has been reduced by $100. The broader promotion also lists deals on items such as the Razer Viper V3 Pro gaming mouse.
The Verge reported on these pricing adjustments, noting that the recent price hikes had made some products more expensive for consumers. The current discounts provide an opportunity for buyers to access premium specifications at lower entry points, particularly for the high-storage iPad Air configuration.
