AppFolio chief executive William Shane Trigg sold 2,057 Class A shares on 14 August 2026 for approximately US$421,685, according to an SEC Form 4 filing reported by Yahoo Finance.
The transaction was executed under a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan adopted in August 2025. The reported weighted average sale price was approximately US$205 a share, compared with AppFolio’s closing price of US$204.21 on the same day.
Trigg continued to hold 70,772 shares directly after the sale. The filing and source material do not establish his motivation for the transaction beyond the existence of the pre-arranged plan.
AppFolio provides cloud-based software for the real estate industry, including accounting, reporting, marketing, leasing, maintenance, workflow automation and communications services.
The company reported trailing-twelve-month revenue of approximately US$1 billion and net income of US$157.5 million. Its reported market capitalisation was approximately US$7.5 billion, with 1,702 full-time employees.
