Giannis Antetokounmpo says he has embraced the Miami Heat’s team culture, describing a meeting that combined personal accounts from two Navy SEALs with physical exercises.

The comments were reported by NBA reporter Eric Nehm. Antetokounmpo said the session included push-ups and left him with “goosebumps”, adding that he loved every second of it and felt “almost like being alive again”.

Antetokounmpo joined Miami after 13 seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks. The supplied report describes the meeting as an introduction to the Heat culture associated with Pat Riley, who joined the franchise in 1995.

His remarks indicate enthusiasm for the new team environment. They do not, on their own, establish a criticism of Milwaukee, despite the original report’s framing of them as a shot at his former club.
