Anterix shares gained 169.6% in Q2, Gabelli says
Gabelli attributed the rally to US regulatory approvals involving 900 MHz broadband spectrum and Lynk Global’s satellite network.

Anterix was the leading positive contributor to Gabelli’s Global Content & Connectivity Fund in the second quarter of 2026, with its shares gaining 169.6%, according to the fund’s investor letter.
Gabelli said the rally followed the Federal Communications Commission’s February approval to expand broadband allocation in the 900 MHz band to 10 MHz from 6 MHz. The fund said the change could give Anterix enhanced capacity and potentially support additional use cases.
In May, the FCC also approved an experimental licence involving Lynk Global’s satellite direct-to-device communications network and Anterix’s licensed 900 MHz broadband spectrum, Gabelli said. The approval is experimental and does not confirm a commercial launch or future revenue.
Anterix, which focuses on private broadband spectrum and utility communications applications, represented 8.8% of the fund’s net assets at 30 June. Gabelli’s fund returned 12.88% in the quarter, compared with 6.02% for the MSCI AC World Communication Services Index.
Anterix closed at approximately US$87.10 on 3 September, giving it a reported market capitalisation of about US$1.69 billion. The reported performance and market figures are based on the fund letter and secondary reporting and have not been independently verified.
