Alabama will face Kentucky at Kroger Field in Lexington on Saturday at 3.30 p.m. ET, with the 13th-ranked Crimson Tide listed as 10-point favourites. The betting total is set at 48.5 points.

Both teams won comfortably in Week 1. Alabama defeated East Carolina 48–10, while Kentucky beat Youngstown State 45–13.

The matchup represents an early test for Alabama as it seeks to remain in contention for the College Football Playoff. Kentucky will be led by coach Will Stein, while Alabama are coached by Kalen DeBoer.

CBS Sports reported that SportsLine’s model projects 51 combined points and favours the Over at 48.5. The model gives that projection a 53 per cent hit rate, making it a forecast rather than a guarantee.

SportsLine has also identified a spread selection with a projected 60 per cent hit rate, although the source does not disclose which side it favours. The betting figures may change before kick-off.

Alabama have won the past eight reported meetings between the teams, with Kentucky’s last reported victory coming in 1997.
