Achane ruled out after knee injury against Chiefs

Miami Dolphins running back De’Von Achane was ruled out against the Kansas City Chiefs after suffering a knee injury on the opening drive, ESPN reported.
Achane ran 11 yards before being tackled awkwardly. He was escorted to the medical tent and then taken to the locker room for further testing. He later appeared on the sideline after half-time without his helmet or shoulder pads.
The report did not provide a diagnosis, severity or expected recovery timeline.
Ollie Gordon II scored a touchdown after Achane left the game. Miami had activated only two running backs, with Jaylen Wright inactive because of a stinger.
Achane missed five games with a knee injury as a rookie, but the report does not indicate whether the current injury is related.
