Houston won the AL West. In the National League, Milwaukee and the Los Angeles Dodgers earned byes, and Atlanta won the NL East.
The report’s account of the Wild Card field is internally inconsistent. Its prose names Cleveland against Houston and Philadelphia against Atlanta, while the schedule lists White Sox against Astros and Phillies against Braves. It also labels the Red Sox–Yankees series as both an AL and NL matchup.
