ACC sets 2026-27 basketball calendar; Clemson omits North Carolina from slate
The Atlantic Coast Conference has confirmed Clemson University’s opponents for the upcoming campaign, with Georgia Tech designated as the primary rival and North Carolina excluded from the regular-season roster.

The Atlantic Coast Conference released the conference opponents for the 2026-27 men’s basketball season on Thursday, providing Clemson University with its initial schedule. The Tigers will play Georgia Tech home and away as its designated rival matchup, with Florida State appearing twice as a rotating repeat opponent.
Clemson will host California, Duke, Notre Dame, Stanford, Syracuse, Virginia, and Wake Forest at home. On the road, the Tigers will travel to Boston College, Louisville, Miami, NC State, Pitt, SMU, and Virginia Tech. Notably, Clemson will not face North Carolina during the regular season.
The ACC will utilise an 18-game conference schedule, with league play commencing in late December and concluding on the first Saturday of March. The 2027 ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament is scheduled for March 12-16 in Greensboro.
Season ticket renewals for Clemson men’s basketball are expected to begin later this summer.
