WIRED has updated its Labor Day guide to discounted mattresses, bedding and other sleep essentials, adding new deals and product information on 7 September 2026.

The roundup covers mattresses, sheets, comforters, mattress toppers and pillows. Named brands include Naturepedic, Birch, Bryte, Casper and Purple, while the guide also features the Casper Dream Hybrid Mattress and products described as suitable for different sleeping preferences.

WIRED says its recommendations are based on testing and reviewer assessments. The guide highlights features including hybrid construction, pressure relief, temperature regulation, adjustable firmness and materials such as wool, latex, cotton and bamboo.

The publication says the strongest mattress promotions typically arrive around Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It does not provide a complete list of discount percentages, sale end dates or product links for every deal.

Prices and promotional availability may change. WIRED’s descriptions of products as “best” or “favourite” reflect its editorial assessments, while comfort and performance can vary between sleepers.
