WIIRed has released its 2026 guide to the best handheld vacuums, evaluating devices based on suction power, battery longevity, and attachment versatility. The Dyson Car+Boat, priced at $300, was selected as the top pick, noted for its high-performance motor and suitability for vehicles and awkward spaces, despite the absence of a digital display. The review also assessed a broad spectrum of competitors, including models from Ryobi, Worx, Shark, Hoto, Tineco, Bissell, and Black and Decker.
Testing methodologies prioritised performance with pet hair, cat litter, and car interiors, with a specific focus on lightweight design and utility. The Dyson unit features a 110,000-rpm motor designed for sucking up dirt from cars, boats, and bedding. While it offers a long battery life and effective crevice tools, reviewers noted it lacks the digital interface found on other Dyson models, relying instead on a simple switch between standard and max modes.
