Davis Martin worked 4⅓ scoreless innings, striking out six while allowing three hits and three walks. He did not record a win for his 15th consecutive appearance.
Detroit’s Max Clark ended the shutout with a sacrifice fly in the eighth. Tigers starter Troy Melton allowed three runs in 3⅔ innings and left with a trainer after Antonacci’s double; the report did not provide a diagnosis.
