Warner Bros. Games brings Lego Batman to Switch 2 with $90 Deluxe Edition
The critically acclaimed title, which holds an average Metacritic score above 84, expands to Nintendo hardware for the first time, offering Standard and Deluxe pricing tiers with specific pre-order incentives.

Warner Bros. Games has confirmed that Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 on 18 September, marking the franchise’s first entry on a Nintendo console. The release follows the game’s initial deployment on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC, where it secured an average Metacritic score exceeding 84, outperforming previous installments such as Lego Star Wars and Lego Marvel Super Heroes.
The Switch 2 version will be available in two configurations: a Standard Edition priced at $70 and a Deluxe Edition at $90. The Deluxe Edition bundles the base game with the Legacy Collection DLC and grants access to the newly announced Mayhem Collection DLC. This additional content pack, which introduces The Joker and Harley Quinn as playable characters in a new game mode, will launch simultaneously across all platforms on 18 September.
For consumers purchasing the physical Deluxe Edition, Warner Bros. is including a free Lego Retro Video Game Batman minifigure. The publisher has noted that this physical bonus is subject to availability and will be distributed while supplies last. Digital purchasers will not receive this physical item.
Pre-order incentives for the Switch 2 platform include a Dark Knight Returns Batsuit for all buyers. Those who select the Deluxe Edition will additionally receive three days of early access to the game prior to the official 18 September launch window. Existing owners of the base game on other platforms can purchase a standalone upgrade for $25 to access the full suite of Deluxe Edition content.
The Mayhem Collection DLC details include a new story mission, additional Batman suits, extra Batcave items, and a redesigned Batmobile. Pre-orders for the Switch 2 version are currently live, allowing players to secure their copies ahead of the autumn release.
