Fox Sports has picked the Minnesota Vikings to cover the spread against the Miami Dolphins in their NFL Week 4 matchup on Sunday. The preview lists Minnesota at 3-0 and Miami at 0-3.

The forecast rests on Minnesota’s defence. Fox Sports says the unit has allowed an average of 11.6 points during the Vikings’ eight-game winning streak, which began last season, and leads the NFL with 14 sacks.

Miami’s task is complicated by the reported season-ending torn ACL suffered by running back De’Von Achane. Fox Sports says Achane had accounted for 32 per cent of the Dolphins’ scrimmage yards since 2025.

Minnesota will also be without receiver Justin Jefferson, who Fox Sports reports is out with an ankle injury. The preview says the Vikings rank last in total offence, leaving their defence to carry the load.

Fox Sports cites Miami’s poor results, including losses by at least 14 points in each of its first three games, in backing its prediction. The supplied preview does not include the full odds.
