The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, with the preliminary card set to commence at 5 p.m. ET.
Institutional oversight of the commentary desk has been assigned to a trio of veteran figures: Jon Anik will provide play-by-play coverage, supported by colour commentators Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier. This arrangement places the focus squarely on the main event bout between Khamzat Chimaev and Sean Strickland, ensuring that the narrative of the fight is delivered through established institutional voices within the mixed martial arts sector.
Operational logistics for the event have been formalised through a series of coordinated broadcasts leading up to the main card. On Friday, the official weigh-in show will be hosted by Dan Hellie, joined by Daniel Cormier, Chris Weidman and Laura Sanko. This pre-event coverage serves to establish the physical parameters of the competition before the fighters enter the octagon.
The ring announcer duties are being managed by Bruce Buffer, widely recognised as the most prominent octagon announcer in the industry's history.
