Trump Mobile accused of insecure data storage ahead of T1 Phone launch
YouTubers voidzilla and penguinz0 confirm personal data was accessible in the Trump Mobile pre-order database, which contains approximately 30,000 phone orders.

Trump Mobile has come under scrutiny following allegations that it has insecurely stored customer data, potentially exposing email addresses, phone numbers, and mailing addresses. The accusations emerge as the company’s T1 Phone appears poised for release, with the alleged breach highlighting significant privacy vulnerabilities in its pre-order infrastructure.
The leak was initially reported by YouTuber voidzilla, who received a tip from an anonymous source identifying a vulnerability in the Trump Mobile website. According to the tipster, the flaw allows users to place fake orders and scrape the entire pre-order database. While the vulnerability grants access to personal contact details, the source confirmed that credit card information remains secure.
Both voidzilla and fellow YouTuber penguinz0 verified that their own details were present in the exposed database. The revelation has provided concrete data on the scale of interest in the device, contradicting earlier viral figures. The leak revealed approximately 10,000 unique customers and 30,000 unique phone orders, a figure substantially lower than the 590,000 orders that had circulated online over the past six months.
It remains unclear whether the 30,000 orders recorded in the database are exclusively for the T1 Phone hardware or if they also include subscriptions for the Trump Mobile 47 Plan SIM. Regardless of the breakdown, the numbers suggest a more modest uptake than previously alleged, a claim that was previously debunked in January.
Trump Mobile has not yet shipped the T1 Phone and has not provided an official comment regarding the security allegations. The full extent of the vulnerability has not been verified by an independent security audit, leaving questions open regarding the total scope of the exposure.
