The Talos Principle 3 confirmed as final entry in philosophical puzzle trilogy
The third instalment will feature over a dozen worlds and complex puzzles, though a specific launch date remains unconfirmed.

Developer Croteam and publisher Devolver Digital have officially announced The Talos Principle 3, confirming it will serve as the concluding entry in the philosophical puzzle game trilogy. The title is scheduled for release on PC and PlayStation 5, although a specific launch date has not yet been confirmed. The announcement follows the 2023 release of The Talos Principle 2 and last year’s ground-up remake of the original title, The Talos Principle: Reawakened.
The narrative begins with the protagonist awakening in "the Anomaly," a contradictory world of crumbling temples and abandoned science outposts where the laws of physics do not function as expected. According to the developers, the player’s memories are fragmented, but the objective is clear: to uncover the reason for their presence in this unique environment.
The game will feature over a dozen distinct worlds, including a desert planet undergoing terraforming and the gardens of Elysium. Devolver Digital has promised both familiar and all-new mechanics alongside increasingly complex puzzles, a direction that aligns with the series' reputation for challenging gameplay.
A teaser trailer has been released, with further details promised soon. The Steam listing adds that the title will test players with new challenges, building on the foundation laid by the 2014 original and its 2023 sequel.
While the scope of the narrative conclusion and specific gameplay features remain preliminary, the series is widely recognised for its blend of puzzle-solving and philosophical themes. The Talos Principle 3 will be available on PC and PS5 when it eventually launches.
