The Motley Fool launches May 2026 promotional offers with discounts up to $200 on investment tiers
The investment service, founded in the early 1990s by brothers Tom and David Gardner, is offering reduced rates for its core subscription and premium portfolio services.

The Motley Fool has introduced promotional pricing for May 2026, allowing new subscribers to secure significant reductions on its annual investment services. Under the new offers, a one-year Stock Advisor subscription is available for $99, representing a saving of $100 off the standard rate. Simultaneously, the premium Epic Bundle can be purchased for $299, which is a $200 discount from the usual annual fee of $499.
These pricing adjustments apply to a suite of services that range from basic stock tips to comprehensive portfolio management. The Epic Bundle, in particular, is structured to address the heavy concentration of current markets in artificial intelligence, robotics, and drug discovery. By offering cautious, moderate, and aggressive risk profiles, the service aims to provide a more defensive balance compared to competitors that may be overly exposed to these specific sectors.
The investment firm advises beginning investors to commence with the Stock Advisor tier before progressing to more complex offerings. The company's recommended strategy emphasises diversification, suggesting that new users buy at least 50 stocks and hold them for a minimum of five years. This approach is designed to counteract the volatility often associated with day trading and short-term speculation.
Historically, the service has positioned itself as an established investment class rather than a simple tip sheet. A 2017 study led by Penn State noted that the service has consistently beaten the S&P 500. The Motley Fool notes that finding the correct discount links can be confusing, as the website offers varying discounts depending on the specific URL accessed by the user.
In addition to the annual promotional rates, a two-year lock-in option is available for the Stock Advisor tier at a total cost of $149. Most promotional plans also include a 30-day membership fee-back guarantee. While this period is insufficient to determine the long-term performance of the stock tips, it allows subscribers to assess the utility of the service before committing further.
