Top-ranked Texas opened its SEC campaign with a 20–17 road win over No. 14 Tennessee at Neyland Stadium, surviving a late push to preserve its unbeaten record.
Raleek Brown scored twice, including a nine-yard touchdown on Texas’s opening drive. The Longhorns led 10–3 at half after the teams exchanged field goals.
