Spry Fox to self-publish Cozy Grove sequel across PC and consoles
The sequel, previously available on mobile since June 2024, launches on Steam, Epic Games Store, and major console families on 15 July.

Spry Fox has confirmed that Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit will release on PC and major console platforms on 15 July. The life simulation sequel will be available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2. The announcement marks the studio’s first major self-published release following its return to independent ownership in December 2025.
The game, which launched on iOS and Android in June 2024, introduces several new mechanics not present in the original 2021 title. These include asynchronous gift-giving, fresh companions, new events, and a powerwashing activity. Players assume the role of a scout stranded on an island of ghost bears, completing tasks and repairing a vehicle to reunite with their troop.
The release strategy reflects a significant shift in the studio’s corporate structure. Netflix Games acquired Spry Fox in 2022 and published the mobile version of Camp Spirit in 2024. However, amid a broader restructuring of Netflix Games in December 2025, the studio was sold back to founders David Edery and Daniel Cook. Spry Fox is now handling publishing duties for the console and PC versions directly.
This move aligns with the studio’s broader plans for its upcoming multiplayer life simulation, Spirit Crossing. Developed while Spry Fox was under Netflix, Spirit Crossing is currently being published on mobile devices by the streamer. Spry Fox intends to self-publish the title on additional platforms in the future, mirroring the approach taken with the Cozy Grove sequel.
The inclusion of Switch 2 in the platform list refers to a future hardware iteration. Availability on this specific console will depend on current official Nintendo announcements and release schedules. The original Cozy Grove remains a notable entry in the life simulation genre, and the sequel aims to expand its audience through these wider platform distributions.
